Unser Drachen ist wieder top fit.
Als ehemaliger Regatta Fan erfreut er heute jedes Seglerherz, welches Freude an Holzbau, Tradition und etwas Nostalgie hat. Drachen gehörten ja lange Zeit zur Olympia Klasse.
Einwasserung im Juni 26 ab Bootswerft Abegglen 3807 Iseltwald , neu amtlich kontrolliert
Teile von Kiel, Planken und Bodenwrangen wurden ausgebaut und durch Neuholz ersetzt., neuer Schotblock, neuer Unterwasseranstrich (vgl. Bilder)
Das Boot wurde bereits 2008 durch die Werft Archimedes totalrevidiert. Dabei wurden unter anderem sämtliche Bodenwrangen, Spannten und Planken revidiert inkl. Auffräsen der kompletten Schale, Sponung-Schrägung und neu völlig dicht verleimt. Das Freibord wurde neu weiss gestrichen und ist seither beim Einwassern 100% dicht.

Boje im Sendli Interlaken kann auf Wunsch übernommen werden (neue Kettenverankerung)

Our Dragon is back in top shape.
As a former regatta favorite, it now delights every sailor who appreciates wooden boat construction, tradition, and a touch of nostalgia. Dragons were, after all, part of the Olympic class for a long time.
Launched on June 26 from the Abegglen Boatyard in 3807 Iseltwald; newly inspected by authorities.
Parts of the keel, planks, and bottom frames were removed and replaced with new wood; new sheet block; new underwater paint (see photos).
The boat underwent a complete overhaul by the Archimedes shipyard back in 2008. Among other things, all floor frames, struts, and planks were overhauled, including milling the entire hull, beveling the joints, and re-gluing them to ensure a completely watertight seal. The freeboard was repainted white and has been 100% watertight since the boat was launched.
Complete set of sails, winter storage stand. Copies of the overhaul documentation can be provided.
A mooring buoy at Sendli in Interlaken can be included upon request (new chain mooring).
