Auster 520 Sport: elegant sports boat with 80 hp in the Swiss Edition complete package, plus the rare opportunity to secure an indoor boat space.

The Auster 520 Sport combines the clean lines of a classic runabout with an interior you rarely find at this size. The cream-white hull with its dark blue band and silver rubbing strake looks timeless and well kept. At 5.24 m long and only 1.98 m wide, it also fits narrow berths and boathouses where wider boats have no room. It is approved for 5 persons.

Cockpit and upholstery
The cockpit is the centrepiece, with cream upholstery in diamond stitching, set off by caramel trims and fine blue piping. Helmsman and passenger sit on two swivelling bucket seats with an embroidered Auster logo. At the stern, a U-shaped corner bench invites you to sit together, with a large sun lounger above it, also quilted. The floor is laid with soft teak: warm to look at, non-slip and pleasant under bare feet. With the removable cockpit table on its pedestal, the cockpit becomes the place for an aperitif on the lake.

Helm
The helm is finished in a dark colour and clearly laid out, with a stainless steel steering wheel and hydraulic steering that is light to operate. A fitted echo sounder shows the water depth. Sturdy screens with aluminium frames protect helmsman and passenger from the headwind.

Engine
The Auster 520 Sport is powered by an 80 hp Mercury four-stroke outboard. The photos show the boat with a different engine setup (Yamaha 115 hp). The 105-litre tank is enough for long outings. Engine, installation, two control cables, the exhaust maintenance document and a battery with battery box and main switch are included in the package price.

Stern and deck
The integrated swim platform with bathing ladder makes it easy to climb back aboard after a swim. Mooring cleats at the bow and two at the stern, plus a bow handrail, make for safe mooring. The bimini top gives shade on hot days, and the cockpit cover protects the boat at its berth.
