Die Rubin 291 präsentiert sich als äusserst geräumiges und schnelles 29-Fuß-Segelboot. Der
Rumpf wurde in formverleimter Bauweise konstruiert. Die Schale besteht aus vier Lagen von ca. 7 mm dickem, formverleimtem Holzfurnier. Die Rubin 291 wurde professionell von einem Bootsbauer gefertigt, wobei das fundierte Know-how und handwerkliche Können eines erfahrenen Fachmanns deutlich zu erkennen sind.
Das Boot wurde speziell für zwei Personen ausgelegt, wobei die geräumige Bugkabine für zwei Personen problemlos Platz zum Schlafen (Betten mit Lattenrost) bietet. Die Kombüse mit Esstisch und Bänke, sowie einer Naviagationsecke verfügt über den Raum, der üblicherweise nur auf grösseren Yachten anzutreffen ist. Die Pantry ist gut ausgestattet und durch die spezielle Platzaufteilung des Innenausbaus auf der Backbordseite auf der ganzen Länge geräumig ausgelegt. Das bewährte 7/8-Rigg zeichnet sich durch Unkompliziertheit aus, und das Segelboot kann Einhand mühelos manövriert und gesegelt werden. Selbst mit vier Personen an Bord kommt man sich nicht ins Gehege.
Zusätzlich zu den bereits erwähnten Segeln sind noch ein RR-Genua normal mit 24m2 und ein Codezero mit 47m2 vorhanden.

The Rubin 291 is an extremely spacious and fast 29-foot sailing boat. The
hull was constructed using a form-glued design. The hull consists of four layers of approx. 7 mm thick, form-glued wood veneer. The Rubin 291 was professionally built by a boat builder, clearly demonstrating the in-depth expertise and craftsmanship of an experienced specialist.
The boat was specially designed for two people, with the spacious bow cabin easily providing sleeping space for two people (beds with slatted frames). The galley with dining table and benches, as well as a navigation corner, has the kind of space that is usually only found on larger yachts. The galley is well equipped and spacious thanks to the special layout of the interior fittings on the port side. The proven 7/8 rig is uncomplicated and the sailboat can be maneuvered and sailed single-handed with ease. Even with four people on board, you won't get in each other's way.
In addition to the sails already mentioned, there is also a normal RR genoa with 24m2 and a codezero with 47m2.
