1983 Damien II Schooner 49, EUR 150'000.-

The yacht PAGAN is a 49-feet steel schooner swing (lifting) keel yacht of the DAMIEN II design.
She was commissioned in 1983 following the design of the famous yacht designer Michel Joubert and constructed at the META shipyard in France and put into service.

She has been schooner rigged with oversized rigging and short powerful masts and spreaders. This set up together with a schooner rig enables easy handling of sails in all conditions with a small crew offering maximum safety at sea.

Due to the solid steel construction with hull thickness of 8 mm or more under water, and through the dense arrangement of stringers and frames, it is particularly suitable for use in Arctic and Antarctic waters and built for all waters of this planet.

This has been proven by Pagan and a number of her sisters carrying out charters and expeditions even in winters in north and south polar regions.

The hull and deck are equipped with 40 mm PU foam against heat and cold, excellent insulated to provide a humidity free and comfortable life on board.

Because of her swing keel with a high ballast ratio and the resulting variable draft it creates enormous security and stability potential, which is not to be underestimated, especially in severe weather and when driving in poor regions surveyed or shallow water areas. It also enables Pagan to dry out on the hard at low tides.

Pagan´s interior and the layout below deck is built for purpose; light, clear, spacious and safe to move around, solid and functional.

Her interior arrangement with 7 berths offers enough space and privacy to retreat below deck, and/or offering her as a live aboard vessel. The bunks are wide and secure in all weather conditions by adequately sized studding sails.
