This Thoma 600 Speer from 1979 is an honest, robust fishing boat with a blue GRP hull and light superstructure – just right for anglers and anyone looking for a practical, versatile boat for Lake Lucerne. With 6.00 metres in length and 1.80 metres in beam, it offers solid dimensions, space for up to 6 people and the straightforward handling that one appreciates in a Swiss classic.

The pictures show a tidy, non-slip covered cockpit with high side walls and side wooden rails – ideal for safe movement on board and with plenty of open space for fishing. At the bow, the railing provides safety, while the flat cabin construction with large side windows protects against wind and weather, and the roof hatch brings light and air into the helm area. At the stern, two bathing platforms on either side make it easy to board from the water or jetty.

Power is provided by a Yamaha outboard with 40 HP, built in 2015, with around 260 operating hours – reliable, easy to maintain and ideally matched to this boat type. Fuel is supplied conventionally with petrol, making the boat equally suitable for longer trips.

Practical for fishing: a Raymarine Dragonfly-5 echo sounder/plotter is already installed on board – keeping water structures, spots and routes always in view.
