Einzigartiges Mändli-Fischerboot / Familienboot. Das Schiff wurde 1997 komplett überholt und mit einer hohen Kajüte in bequemer Sitzhöhe 1.25m versehen (siehe PDF-Dokumentation). 2024 wurde der Backbord-Süllrand in massivem Mahagoni neu erstellt, 2025 wurde der vielgefahrene und verkalkte Motor durch einen wenig gefahrenen 5PS-Honda-Motor ersetzt, der sehr zuverlässig und sparsam ist. Die Bootsaufbauten sind zweckmässig und das Schiff sieht "herzig" aus. An einer Stelle am Dach sowie bei den vorderen Backskisten sollte aus optischen Gründen morsches Holz ersetzt werden.

Das Boot wurde 2025 durch das Schifffahrtsamt Luzern geprüft und ohne Auflagen bestätigt. Es wurde nahegelegt, bis zur nächsten Schiffskontrolle einmal den weichen Cockpit-Boden zu öffnen und auf Kondenswassereinschlüsse zu prüfen. Zum Schiff wird eine Ganzjahrespersenning abgegeben, die auch als Regenschutz bei der Fahrt verwendet werden kann. Das Schiff hat eine mechanische Motor-Fernsteuerung mit Lenkrad mit Seilzügen und Gashebel im Cockpit, die seit dem Motorwechsel aber nicht mehr benutzt wird (Handstarter).

A unique Mändli fishing boat / family boat. The boat was completely refurbished in 1997 and fitted with a high cabin at a comfortable seating height of 1.25 m (see PDF documentation). In 2024, the port side coaming was rebuilt in solid mahogany; in 2025, the heavily used and calcified engine was replaced with a lightly used 5 HP Honda engine, which is very reliable and fuel-efficient. The boat’s superstructure is functional, and the vessel has a charming appearance. In one spot on the roof and near the forward lockers, rotten wood should be replaced for aesthetic reasons.

The boat was inspected by the Lucerne Shipping Authority in 2025 and approved without conditions. It was recommended that, prior to the next inspection, the soft cockpit floor be opened to check for condensation pockets. A year-round cover is included with the boat, which can also be used as rain protection while sailing. The boat has a mechanical remote control system for the engine with a steering wheel, cable controls, and a throttle lever in the cockpit; however, this has not been used since the engine was replaced (manual starter).
