Heyday WT-2 Wake & Surf Boat: built without compromise for the perfect wave
Some boats are built to pull water-skiers. Others to glide gently across the lake. The Heyday WT-2 has only one goal: the best wave of your life. Its sharp lines, the angular wakeboard tower and the bold paintwork in white, black and red leave no doubt about its purpose. This is not an ordinary family cruiser; it is a specialised wake and surf boat that puts driver and guests right at the centre of the action sport.
Under the engine hatch sits a powerful MerCruiser Towsport 6.2 MPI with 238 kW (around 324 hp), paired with the Mercury Bravo Four S Forward Drive. This unusual sterndrive turns the propellers forward under the hull, well away from the surfer at the stern. The WT-2 combines the safety of a classic inboard wakeboat with the easy maintenance and clean trim of a sterndrive. The V8 torque delivers exactly the power a cleanly shaped wake needs, and brings the 6.20-metre-long, 2.40-metre-wide platform up to speed at the very moment the rider sets off.
On deck, the WT-2 has an open, clearly drawn layout. Grey-and-black upholstery with contrast stitching, a generous U-shaped cockpit area and the bow seating group up front offer plenty of room for friends and family. The integrated stern with its wide swim platform becomes the stage for every jump into the water, whether for wakeboarding, surfing or simply cooling off. The solid tower with board racks is more than a design statement: it is the functional heart of the WT-2 and lifts the tow line to exactly the height that clean tricks require.
The Heyday WT-2 has earned a firm place in the international watersport scene. Heyday, an American specialist manufacturer, builds its boats single-mindedly for wakeboarding and wakesurfing. Ballast and hull shape are tuned to each other so that the wave behind the boat takes exactly the form riders look for: long, steep and clean. That makes the WT-2 a favourite of beginners who want to see fast progress, and of experienced boarders who want a real surf machine without a six-figure budget. This mix of performance and accessibility built the brand in the USA, and its fan base keeps growing in Europe too.
The boat was first registered in Switzerland in 2019 and, as the photos show, is in well-kept condition. At Caminada Werft AG on Lake Lucerne you can expect personal advice, a well-practised team with decades of experience in the motorboat segment, and a fair, transparent process. Come by, take a seat at the wheel, and see for yourself.
