Heyday WT-2 Wake & Surf Boat: purpose-built for the perfect wave

This motorboat will be on display at our in-house show this weekend, on 25 and 26 April 2026, alongside further pre-owned and new boats.

Some boats are built to tow a skier. Others are built to cruise the lake in comfort. The Heyday WT-2 has a single mission: to give you the best wave of your life. Its sharp lines, bold wakeboard tower and striking white, black and red livery leave no doubt about its purpose. This is not a family cruiser but a dedicated wake and surf machine that puts riders and guests right at the heart of the action.

Beneath the engine cover sits a powerful MerCruiser Towsport 6.2 MPI delivering 238 kW (around 324 hp), paired with the Mercury Bravo Four S Forward Drive. This special sterndrive spins its propellers forward, underneath the hull, well away from the surfer riding the wake. The WT-2 therefore combines the safety of a dedicated inboard wake boat with the simpler servicing, cleaner trim and more accessible pricing of a sterndrive. The V8 delivers exactly the torque a cleanly shaped wake demands and lifts the 6.20-metre hull with its 2.40-metre beam onto plane the moment the rider calls for it.

On deck the WT-2 presents an open, purposeful layout. Grey and black upholstery with contrast stitching, a generous U-shape cockpit and a roomy bow seating group offer plenty of space for friends and family. The integrated transom with its wide swim platform becomes the stage for every jump into the water, whether for wakeboarding, wakesurfing or simply cooling off. The substantial tower with board racks is more than a design statement: it is the functional heart of the WT-2, lifting the towline to the exact height that clean tricks demand.

The Heyday WT-2 has earned a firm place in the international watersports scene. Heyday, an American specialist, builds its boats with a single priority in mind, wakeboarding and wakesurfing. Ballast and hull shape are tuned so that the wave behind the boat takes the form riders are looking for: long, steep and clean. That makes the WT-2 a favourite with beginners who want to progress fast, and with experienced riders who demand a real surf machine without committing to a six-figure budget. This balance of performance and accessibility has made the brand a success in the US, and the European fan base continues to grow.
